Opportunities to Publish Recent Work as Extended Abstracts in 2022
As the conference has been delayed for two years and the proceedings have been published, a call for extended abstracts will be announced on July 15, 2021 to encourage presentation of the latest research findings in energy geotechnics. The template will be posted soon. The extended abstracts should be submitted to John McCartney by October 1, 2021. The extended abstracts will be reviewed for acceptance by October 15, 2021.
Sessions and Minisymposia
The proceedings were organized into sessions focused on the conference themes. Further, several minisymposia will be organized by the leaders of the TC308 Committee Task Forces. These minisymposia will be focused on specialized topics and will be held during the conference schedule. The minisymposia that have been organized include:
Engineered Geomaterials for Energy and Environmental Sustainability, organized by Alessandro Rotta Loria
Physical and Numerical Modeling of Hydrate-Bearing Sediments, organized by Sheng Dai
Geothermal use of built urban infrastructures and the shallow subsurface for energy storage and production, organized by Frank Wuttke, Thomas Nagel, Sebastian Bauer and David Smeulders
The conference organizers can provide invitations letters to authors or delegates upon request.
